I want to apologize for my song selections recently. This is what happens when your friend who provides you with all this new and awesome music that most people have never heard of gets a girlfriend and drops off the face of the earth. That’s right. To add to that, ALL my cd mixes friends have made for me were messed up and I don’t want to explain why but I will say it had to do with a messy car and a lip gloss explosion. Anyway, I get excited when this song comes on, I mean I start dancing and singing in my car. Don’t judge because it’s not like I have many options because the sequence of events goes something like this “106.7- Lady Gaga- paparazzi, PASS! 107.5- “Baby are you down down down down down (down-like-the-economy) PASS!, 102.5- “Call me Mr. Flinstone cuz i can make your bed rock” clever, right? so I sing along for a minute but PASS!, 100.1- some slow chill Nora Jones track which is nice but I need some pep in my step PASS!, 97.9- The newest Lady Antebellum track, LOVE IT so I stay here for the duration of the song then some other lame country song comes on, then I finally turn it to 101.1-the-beat-jamzzzzz which is usually my last resort because its mostly really obnoxious rap but I was pleasantly surprised by Ms. Jennifer Hudson and this “Spotlight” track.
